Radio Buttons are used to allow users to select either a single option from a list of options in a PDF form. This is because radio buttons are used when only one option from the list should be selected. If another option in the same radio button group is selected then the other option will be unselected.
Begin by creating an input element to serve as the basic foundation. Set the type to radio. Give each radio button a unique ID. Use the name attribute to identify all the buttons in a group. Consider visual grouping as well.
To make it required that a selection must be made, just click the required option under Radio Button field settings. Doesn't matter whether you do this on just one of the radio buttons in the group, or all of them, you'll get the same behavior of “one must be selected for this field to be valid”.
To label a radio button, add a element after the element and insert a for attribute with the same value as the id of the associated element. Then, write your label text in the tag.
The HTML defines a radio button, grouped by sharing the same name attribute. Only one button in a group can be selected at a time. Selecting a new button deselects the previous one. Multiple groups can exist with different names.
All RadioButton controls in a given container, such as a Form, constitute a group. To create multiple groups on one form, place each group in its own container, such as a GroupBox or Panel control. RadioButton and CheckBox controls have a similar function: they offer choices a user can select or clear.
A radio group is defined by giving each of radio buttons in the group the same name . Once a radio group is established, selecting any radio button in that group automatically deselects any currently-selected radio button in the same group.
You group radio buttons by drawing them inside a container such as a Panel control, a GroupBox control, or a form. All radio buttons that are added directly to a form become one group. To add separate groups, you must place them inside panels or group boxes.
