Very easy to use. Have saved me so much time. Saves time by not having to re-type documents and I can just add in names on pre-typed forms. It has been instrumental for changing contracts and names on documents I think, if it isn't in place, a way to be able to use it on your mobile device. Go to the part of the document where you want to insert your table of contents. Open the References. Click Table of Contents. Choose an Automatic Table.
Click where you want to insert the table of contents usually near the beginning of a document. Click References > Table of Contents and then choose an Automatic Table of Contents style from the list.
Click where you want your Table of Contents to appear. Display the Table of Contents dialog. To do that: In Word 2000, choose Insert > Index and Tables. In Microsoft Word 2002 and 2003, choose Insert > Reference > Index and Tables. Click on the Table of Contents tabs. Click OK.
