Use the drop-down menu (it's the icon with the three dots in the top right-hand corner) and choose Block Number. To unblock a blocked number, choose To unblock Number from that same menu as above, or tap Unblock at the bottom of the conversation with the blocked number.
How do you unblock someone from texting?
Open the Messages app. Tap More. Blocked contacts. Find the contact in the list and tap Remove and then tap Unblock. Otherwise, tap Back.
How do I see blocked text messages?
Once blocked, the caller can't leave any kind of message on your iPhone, whether it's an iMessage or SMS. Open the Settings app. Tap “Phone.” Tap “Call Blocking & Identification.” You should see a list of all the phone numbers you've blocked on your iPhone.
Will you receive texts after unblocking?
If you unblock a contact, you won't receive any messages, calls or status updates the contact sent you during the time they were blocked. If you unblock a contact or phone number that wasn't previously saved in your phone's address book, you won't be able to restore that contact or phone number to your device.
How do you send a text message from a blocked number?
However, this cannot be done directly from your cell phone without your number being included with the message. In order to send a blocked text message, you must use a free text messaging service. An online text messaging service can send a text message from an anonymous email to a recipient's cell phone.
Can you send a text from a blocked number?
If you've blocked the number in your phone that prevents you from receiving texts from that number but doesn't stop you from sending them to that number. If your number is blocked by the number you're sending to you can still send all the messages you want to it, they'll just never be seen by the recipient.
