How do I upgrade my pacer account?
1) Go to www.pacer.gov and log in to Manage My Account. 2) Under Settings, select Set Security Information. 3) Upgrade your PACER account.
How do I link my pacer account?
Click Link my filer account to my PACER account. Enter your old e-filing CM/ECF login and password to link your accounts. If successful, your CM/ECF e-filing account will now be linked to your upgraded PACER account, and you will see the following screen.
How do you activate pacer account?
To obtain a PACER account, you must complete the online PACER registration form. For immediate access to court records, provide a credit card during registration. If you do not provide a credit card, an activation code will be sent by U.S. mail to the address you provided on the registration form.
What is an upgraded Pacer account?
UPGRADING YOUR PACER ACCOUNT. The next generation (Next Gen) of CM/ECF provides a new logon module that allows you to use your PACER account to access PACER and any Next Gen court in which you are allowed to file. To activate this feature, you must have an upgraded PACER account.
Can anyone get a pacer account?
PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) allows anyone to pay a fee and view documents filed using CM/ECF. Anyone can sign up for a PACER account, whether they are an attorney, law student, or member of the public.
Is a pacer account free?
There is no registration fee. However, the Judicial Conference of the United States has established a fee for access to PACER. Access to PACER systems will generate a $0.10 per page charge. If you would like to try PACER before registering, visit our free training site.
