What are the disadvantages of RTF format?
Limited advanced formatting options. While RTF supports basic formatting features, it may lack more advanced options available in specific word processing formats. Complexity when handling large files. Not ideal for data interchange.
How to create a Table in RTF?
To create a table inside your entry: Access your entry editor page. In the editor toolbar of your Rich Text field, click on the Table button. A default table of two rows and two columns with header enabled is added to your entry. Optional: Modify your table using one or multiple options from the cell actions menu.
How to add rows in rtf template?
If you are going the Word route, just right-click the document and Open With > Microsoft Word. Edit your table, add your rows, and save and close the document. It will be updated in DEVONthink, and still be an RTF. (A bit of caution, Word sometimes adjusts table width.)
