Is Planner replacing project?

Project and Planner are built for team projects. Are there few deliverables and dependencies, or many? For a simpler team project, we recommend using Planner. If you need to track dependencies, costs, or more complexity, Project works best.

Does Outlook have a project management tool?

Outlook Tasks makes it easy to manage a small project from within your email app. Tasks also sync with To Do. You can look at your tasks in terms of status, priority, level of completeness, category, and more. You can even display your tasks on a calendar and share them with other team members.

Is Microsoft Project separate from Office 365?

Excel has a Gantt chart template that can be used for project planning and allows you to manage your project with ease. Similar to Resource Guru's project planning template, Excel's template allows you to enter start dates, the project's duration, and where each task stands in terms of progress.

Is MS Project available in Office 365?

Microsoft 365 Business Standard package includes Access and Publisher and MS Project is not included. You can purchase MS Project to add to your existing MS 365 subscription. The cost of adding MS Project to your usage depends on the number of users and the type of subscription you have.

Is MS Project being discontinued?

We remain deeply committed to providing the full support you need and expect, so you can continue to use and invest with confidence in Microsoft Project. There is no date to limit the functionality of Project Online at this time, but we encourage customers to plan their transition as soon as possible.

Is Microsoft Project ending?

Support for Project Server 2019 ended in early 2024, and the end date of the extended period is July 14, 2026. Previously, Microsoft announced that support for Project Online would also end, but at this time, no end date for support has been announced.

The software is excellent - really easy to use. I wasn#t sure whether to pay for something I'll only use a few times a year but decided to do so simply to save time searching for free software that probably wouldn't be as good. One minor niggle: I paid on my debit card and it took me back to the website, whereupon I had to pay again to gain access - not sure if I have paid twice or not. Would have been five stars other than for that.

I enjoy updating documents without creating a entirely new document. I wish there was shading an area after you erase to match the background of the document.

This program was easy to work with; however, I misunderstood that the forms I was trying to use were copyrighted and had to be completed in another manner. Customer service was very prompt in responding to questions; and, for the right forms, this would be an awesome service.

I love this program I love this program! I am able to easily create PDFs and sign them with a verified signature. It just showed me how to merge two documents into one. Great program!

What do you like best? This program makes it very easy to enter data into pre-printed forms instead of using a typewriter. What do you dislike? Sometimes there will be a data box over another data box and it makes it difficult to change information. Also, when you highlight and change or add to preexisting words the formatting changes and you can not change it back to look like the original What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Not having to ever use a typewriter is the best benefit. Having all of my previous files stored is highly appreciated.
