After a slow start and feeling misled by the "fill in your form for free" and then having to pay, I did get a full refund. The tech support was excellent - they were the only ones, that I could find, that could get me the rather complex fill in form from NY State Tax authorities (RP-5217). I still feel I should not have to pay a third party to file a required tax form - but that is an issue I'll have to take up with NYS, wish me good luck with that one.

I first tried PDFfiller with a trial subscription and to be honest, I really just wanted it so I could add text to a document and I didn't plan to extend my subscription. Very useful! What I most liked is the signature with verified by PDFfiller. There are couple of times I cannot edit properly but this should be how the pdf file was created. For example, to change page number, I wasn't able to do this properly so end up sending my forms as they were.
