It is my alternative for quick editing of pdf documents I edit PDF documents quickly It's software is quite intuitive. It is easy to handle. To fill out forms is great. Also to add the signatures to the documents Once I wrote to technical support and I'm still waiting for an answer. It's the only negative I can say. To change the formatting of the footnote numbers, select the Footnotes Reference Style. If you want to change the formatting of the footnote text at the bottom of the page, select the Footnote Text Style. Click Modify, and then change the formatting options (font, size, and so on).
On the References tab of the ribbon, click on the Dialog Launcher at the right-hand end of the Footnotes caption bar in the ribbon to display the Footnote and End note dialog. In that dialog, you can set the numbering as either Continuous or to start at a specific number on each page, or in each Section of the document.
Click inside any footnote in the document. Click the Home tab. From the Select dropdown in the Editing group, choose Select All Text With Similar Formatting (No Data), as shown in Figure D. Press F9 and then click Yes (once for each footnote, which is a bit tedious).
Remove a footnote If you want to delete the footnote (that's at the bottom of the page), delete the number 1 in the body. When you do that, the footnote itself disappears. Another way you can do this is to right-click the footnote at the bottom of the page, select Go to Footnote and then delete the number there.
To remove the footnote you need to go up to the superscript number that was added in the body of your text. If you delete the superscript number it will also automatically remove the footnote for you. It should also automatically renumber any other footnotes that you might have. Unable to update vote.
Open the References tab and in the Footnotes group select Insert Footnote. Word inserts the note reference mark and places the insertion point in the text area of the new footnote. Type the text for the footnote. Double-click the footnote reference mark to return to the reference mark in the document.
Go to beginning of document. Click the References tab. Click Show Notes. Click Next Footnote until the cursor moves to a position where a footnote does not exist. That is the phantom footnote. Delete the next around the cursor.
