PDF Viewer for Chrome is a free and very useful tool that allows you to view and edit files directly in your browser. To see the file with this Reader simply hit the icon installed in the browser's toolbar or just click the Chrome's context menu and select "Open with PDF Viewer".
Chrome comes with a built-in setting that will download PDFs instead of previewing them. This setting is generally disabled by default, but there is a chance you have unknowingly enabled it or a third-party app changed its status. To fix this, you need to disable PDF downloads.
What to Know In the Chrome browser, select the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner. Choose Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security. Select Site Settings > PDF documents. Use the toggle switch next to Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome to turn the feature on and off.
Read Aloud can read PDF, Google Docs, Google Play books, Amazon Kindle, and EPUB (via the excellent EPUBReader extension from epubread.com). Read Aloud is intended for users who prefer to listen to content instead of reading, those with dyslexia or other learning disabilities, and children learning to read.
