Decline to Sign Document Feature
The Decline to Sign Document feature provides users with the ability to easily manage their agreements. When you encounter a document that does not meet your needs or expectations, this feature allows you to decline signing without any hassle. You can maintain transparency and clarity in your dealings.

This feature solves the problem of ambiguity in document transactions. By allowing you to decline a document politely, you can save time and prevent misunderstandings. You gain control over the agreements you enter into, ensuring they align with your objectives. Embrace clarity while handling your documents effectively.
How to Manage the Decline to Sign Feature
When the signers receive a Sign Invite they have two options: either to accept and sign the document or to decline and not to sign. If they refuse to sign, they need to click the Decline to Sign button. However, if the signer changes their mind and after the rejection, finally decides to sign the document, there is still an opportunity to do so.
Look for the yellow arrow inside the document to direct you to the Signature field.

To reject a document signing, select Options and next go to Decline to Sign.

Clicking Decline to Sign will trigger opening a new window to give a reason for the decline.

Mind that the document can still be signed later.

As soon as the signer selects the Decline to Sign button, you will receive an email notification with a decline reason.

However, the signer still has an opportunity to sign the document. In 24 hours after the decline, the signer will receive a reminder notification, advising them to sign the document.
