The Void Signed feature in pdfFiller allows you to easily void any signed document. Follow these steps to use this feature:

Go to the 'My Documents' section.

Find the signed document that you want to void and click on it to open it.

Once the document is open, click on the 'Void Signed' button located at the top of the page.

A confirmation dialog box will appear asking if you are sure you want to void the document. Click 'Yes' to proceed.

The document will now be voided, and a void stamp will be applied to it. The voided document will still be accessible in your account, but it will be clearly marked as voided.

If you need to unvoid the document, simply click on the 'Unvoid' button that appears next to the void stamp. This will remove the void stamp and restore the document to its original state.

What does voiding a document mean

You can void an In Process envelope. Voiding stops recipients from viewing or signing the document. You can also void an envelope to stop email notifications to a recipient if the recipient does not want to or need to sign the envelope.

What does void mean in a contract

Having no legal effect from the start. Thus, a void contract is invalid from the start of its purported closing (having no legal effect, it does not change the legal relationship between the parties involved).

Can someone still see a voided document on

Once you void a document, recipients can no longer view or sign it. Voiding an envelope cancels all outstanding signing activities. You can void any of your sent envelopes that have not yet completed. You can only void envelopes that you sent or manage, or are shared with you, and that are still in process.

Why does say void

A VOID watermark will be applied to the document(s), and any signatures already collected on the envelope are now invalid. Recipients who have not yet signed can no longer view or sign it. For recipients who have finished signing and the sender, voiding does not restrict their access to it.

What voids a signed contract

A contract may be deemed void if the agreement is not enforceable as it was originally written. In such instances, void contracts (also referred to as void agreements), involve agreements that are either illegal in nature or in violation of fairness or public policy.

What does void signature mean

When you sign a contract, you're agreeing to its terms and are legally obligated to fulfill them u2014 if the contract is valid. However, a contract may be deemed null and void after it's signed, meaning it was never enforceable.
