Eligible students are a) high-achieving undergraduate students at an undergraduate, four-year university, two- or four-year public four-year college or university, or an accredited four-year Christian academy, high school, or junior college with a golf curriculum; b) students with the ability to play competitive golf at a high level; c) those with demonstrated interest in the game of golf; and d) males or females of the opposite sex who have demonstrated an ability to meet the educational goals of the scholarship with no academic credit awarded in previous years. Eligible students include both undergraduate students and graduates of educational institutions. Eligibility of the undergraduate student eligibility is determined on the basis of the student's academic status. Eligibility of the graduate student eligibility is determined on the basis of a student's demonstrated financial need. Eligible programs include: undergraduate students at an undergraduate, two- or four-year university, or an accredited four-year Christian academy; and graduate students at an accredited four-year university, or an accredited four-year Christian academy; c) at an eligible university or academy, or two- or four-year public four-year college or university, or at an eligible junior college with a golf curriculum; and d) enrolled full-time at an eligible university or academy, or enrolled full-time at eligible junior college with a golf curriculum. The scholarship will be awarded to a student in accordance with the following guidelines: A maximum of 40,000 is awarded to a student who has demonstrated the ability or is in financial need to pursue an undergraduate or graduate program of study resulting in a degree, certificate, or other certificate. For any students who have earned or are in the process of earning all of their undergraduate or graduate program of study credits, the student will be eligible for a maximum of 40,000 per year. An additional 20,000 is awarded to a student who is enrolled full-time at an eligible, university or academy, regardless of the academic year earned. The student must complete all the following requirements prior to scholarship award: completed enrollment in the selected university, in the eligible college, or in the eligible junior college, or in a Christian academy that is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges or other regional accrediting agency; earned a high grade point average or a course grade point average of at least 3.
