IF THE MUNICIPAL POLICY REQUIRES ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, IT MUST BE IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY A PERSON OTHER THAN THE MEMBER OF THE MUNICIPALITY. If the municipality does not make its tax returns as required, the Department issues a letter to the mayor or president informing him/her of the failure and advising the mayor or president of the options available to him/her for making the tax returns.
