The user interface takes some getting used to after using DocuSign for 8 years. However, the customer service is second to none and has made the transition as smooth as I could have hoped for! Top notch to say the least!

Local educational agencies (LEAs) are required to administer the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELP AC) to eligible students in kindergartenor year one of a two-year kindergarten program, also referred to as transitional kindergarten through grade twelve.
The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELP AC) is the required state test for English language proficiency (ELP) that must be given to students whose primary language is a language other than English.
The purpose of the Summative ELPAC is to measure progress toward English proficiency, to help inform proper educational placements, and to help determine if a student is ready to be reclassified. This is important to ensure that students continue to receive the support they need to do well in school.
Assessments for California (ELP AC) The ELPAC is the test that is used to measure how well students in kindergarten (K) through grade twelve understand English when it is not their primary language. Information from the ELP AC helps your child's teacher provide support in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
WHO TAKES THE INITIAL ELPAC? The Initial ELP AC is given to students in grades K12 whose primary language is not English to determine their English language proficiency status.
Overall Score: Students will receive an overall scale score and performance level consisting of oral language skills (speaking, listening) and written language skills (reading, writing). The four performance levels are 1= Minimally Developed, 2= Somewhat Developed, 3= Moderately Developed, and 4= Well Developed.
The ELPAC Initial Assessment is used to identify students as being either an English learner (EL) or fluent in English. The Initial Assessment is administered only once during a student's time in the California public school system, based on the results of the home language survey.
