Learn to Request Attachments from Signers

Sometimes documents for signing may require additional files. The Request Attachment feature will help users create fields and request documents.

Click Upload Document to upload your file.

Open the document by clicking More and Open Document.

Choose Request Attachments from the left sidebar and drag the field to the document.

Now customize the cell, assign roles, name it, and turn it into required or conditional. When you’re done click OK.

Finish with clicking Done and then click Send Invite.

The attached documents will appear as thumbnails at the bottom of the PDF document. You can rearrange the order of the attached documents by dragging and dropping them.

To remove an attached document, simply click on the 'X' button on the top right corner of the thumbnail.

If you want to preview an attached document, click on the thumbnail to open it in a new tab.

After you have attached all the necessary documents, you can save the changes by clicking on the 'Save' button in the toolbar.

It's the rightmost menu option in the menu above your PDF and will drop down a menu. Click Attach File. Your file manager will open so you can find a file to attach to your PDF. Locate the file you want to attach and click Open.
