How do I protect a protected file?
Choose “Restrict Editing” in the Protect group to open the Restrict Formatting and Editing window beside the document's text. Click the “Stop Protection” button at the bottom of the Restrict Formatting and Editing window. Type the password in the Protect Document pop-up window and click “OK.”
