I can't imagine being anywhere else I think I'd be a different person there's nowhere I'd rather be than right here Vanderbilt was my dream school I absolutely adored everything about it, I only applied to two schools and Vanderbilt was my top school when I visited Vanderbilt I knew this was the place I wanted to be the community academic excellence prestige the reputation and visit the campus it felt right at home I fell in love with the culture and the people and just the atmosphere I was taking in my family in high school and they kind of they told me in importance of academics it's a great school I loved it, but you know money was an issue to be honest I didn't plan on even going to college, but I didn't really think I'd be able to come here I didn't think that dream would never really be realized just because of the money wasn't there it was basically a no-brainer hands down easy decision of my life I was extremely honored the scholarship was really a main reason why I chose Vanderbilt the scholarship is why I'm down in Nashville right now and its why I'm having to sign my life one of the reasons I chose Vanderbilt was because it was opportunity for me to get the best challenge academically as well as athletically planning the best conference in America it's been a really great experience forming relationship with professors and students I've been able to explore so many academic interests I've been working for a lab here at Andy right now I'm doing public speaking which you know really helps me get a taste of what its like in the professional world I've been able to get involved in different clubs and really the only issue is that there are too many options to choose from alternative Spring Break kayo Mega I've become a member of the men cross-country team the club lacrosse team I've been through the very best at Vanderbilt football in the very worst to be a part of those changes and to see the history and making its just been so great for me, I've volunteered a couple different places I got involved with the best buddies organizations like Habitat for Humanity tools for schools and I also have done care for AIDS a program that tutors local high school kids in math and science we read to children in underprivileged schools in Nashville we do medical missions in Latin American countries, so I got to do a bunch of different things around campus, and you know kind of leave my mark I'm definitely so thankful to have been given this opportunity honestly I get up every morning and I know that each day is going to be an adventure yes I love my classes I love campus I love that atmosphere but more than anything I love the people that I've met just the most interesting smart well-rounded people that I don't think that I could have met anywhere besides Vanderbilt I've never been somewhere where people have been so passionate everyone has something that they care about and I think that's rare to find at a bunch of eighteen or nineteen-year-old kids...
