The declaration is usually accompanied by a copy of a US passport and visa (if applicable). The supplemental declaration to Customs form 3299 and the Power of Attorney must also be attached.
When is the Customs form 3299 due?
The declaration is completed when there is a need. The form must accompany the goods during the transportation process. The estimated time for completing the form is 15 minutes.
