The work is varied, following the Vinnie motto: "No act of charity is foreign to the society."
The motto, which is part of the logo, is, as we can see, “Serviens in spe”: to serve in hope.
The logo has the following meaning: The fish is the symbol of Christianity and, in this case, represents the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. The eye of the fish is the vigilant eye of God seeking to help the poor in our midst.
The logo depicts three hands on top of one another. The middle one holds a cup, the top hand is place over the cup with the palm facing downwards, and the bottom hand is placed below the middle hand with the palm facing upwards. The hand at the top signifies the hand of Christ, which blesses the cup.
“As committed members of the Society of St Vincent de Paul, we seek to identify and combat all forms of poverty, by promoting social justice and actively working with those in need, acknowledging that, by freely giving of ourselves, we become more aware of the power of love in all our relationships.”
The approved constituent colours of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul logo are white, blue pantone 300U and red pantone 032U. Those colours are mandatory in electronic version, and they should be reproduced as such whenever possible in printed versions of the logo.

A media release, also known as a press release, is a written statement provided to the media to announce something of news value. It is typically used to communicate information about events, company updates, product launches, and other important news.
Typically, organizations, businesses, or individuals who have important news to share with the public or media are required to file a media release. This can include corporations, non-profits, government agencies, and other entities.
To fill out a media release, start with a compelling headline, include a dateline with the release date and location, write a strong lead paragraph summarizing the news, follow with supporting details, include quotes if available, add a boilerplate about the organization, and finish with contact information for media inquiries.
The purpose of a media release is to inform the media about newsworthy events or announcements, to generate media coverage, and to promote awareness and engagement with the organization or its activities.
