Does Windows have a PDF editor? Go to File > Open. Search for the PDF and open it in Word. Edit the document as needed. Save the document as a Word file, or click Save As and choose to save it as a PDF.
Re-create the PDF file If you have the original source file that the PDF was created from, re-create the PDF. Open the file in the original program (such as a word processing or a page layout program). Choose File > Print, and then choose the option to save the file as a PDF. Open the new PDF, and try printing again.
So, whenever a user finds that the print option disabled in PDF, it means that the PDF file owner has imposed the print restriction on it. Hence that print symbol show “Grayed Out”.
To fix PDF printing issues, check the printer status, connection, and settings, update the driver, or try printing another PDF. These steps can solve common problems.
Press Win + R to open the Run dialog. Type Optionalfeatures and click OK to open the Optional Features dialog. Alternatively, you can also open it from Settings > Apps >Optional Features > More Windows features. In the Turn Windows features on or Off dialog, locate Microsoft Print to PDF.
