Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
To do that, go to Settings » Discussion from the left sidebar of your WordPress admin panel. On this page, you need to uncheck the option that says Allow people to post comments on new articles and then click on the Save Changes button to store your settings. This will disable comments on all your future posts.
If you have more than one site, go to My Sites and select the site you would like to enable/disable comments for, then go to Settings. Next, click on the Discussion tab. Automatically Closing Comments.
At this point you should see a Bulk Edit block with all your selected pages on the left, and a list of dropdown options on the right.Open the Comments dropdown list and select the Do not allow option (see the screenshot below). Then click on the Update button at the left bottom corner of the Bulk Edit block.
In WordPress, go down to the Settings tab and select Discussion. At the top of this page, you'll see a section called Default article settings. Uncheck Allow people to post comments on new articles if you want to disable this functionality.
Reduce the number of links allowed per post. Create a list of 'blacklisted' words. Set up a comment moderation system. Restrict comment privileges to registered users. Use an anti-spam plugin, such as Akismet. Move to a third-party comments plugin.
