I reviewed this software for my company… I reviewed this software for my company (we historically use another product) for function and usability. It is significantly more user friendly than the others that do similar functions. What makes this a good decision is the cost and the support. It costs a third of the software we currently use and when I experienced a problem (on the weekend) I had (professional and personal) support online in less than a minute. Very satisfied.

I am in Human Resources - this app is so easy to use and is a great time saver as some of the information on the forms are universal. No need to retype huge amounts of information!

A red asterix is a common approach in website UX to show that a form field is required to be filled out by the using before submitting the form. Therefore when creating the form you will have to remember to add this in the HTML where you want the asterisk to appear which is commonly after the label of the form field.
i.e. fields would be marked with an asterisk with a note somewhere explicitly stating the meaning. Eventually it becomes widespread and users assume it means 'required' without referencing the footnote. Much in the same way we are taught that red labels mean required. shareimprove this answer.
When someone tries to submit an entry without filling out a required field, we highlight the problematic fields and display an error message to let them know the field is required. You can apply this setting to any field type. To require an answer to a field: Log in and go to Forms.
What does the red star or asterisk next to a contact's status mean? The red asterisk next to a contact's status indicates that he or she has turned on the Out of Office reply in Outlook.
Asterisk. Meaning: You're afraid the person isn't as cool as you. The main reason people use asterisks in a text is to censor a word, for example: "I like deep-fried sandwiches so my friends call me the C*** of Monte Cristo. Little do they know I'm plotting my elaborate revenge on them."
*Denotes required field. **Denotes one or the other field is required. It can be confusing to the user as to which one of the fields is required, as the legend is red in color for both single and double asterisk fields.
A "Required Field" is a field that must be filled in with value before submission of a form. Required field sometimes known as Mandatory field or Compulsory field.
In the Navigation Pane, right-click the table and then click Design View. Select the field that you want to require always has a value. In the Field Properties pane, on the General tab, set the Required property to Yes.
