A sales contract should also address what is being bought or sold. A sales contract should provide a detailed description of the goods and/or services at issue, the quantity of goods/duration of service, and any industry standards that the goods/services should meet.
A sales contract records a transaction between a buyer and seller for legal purposes and record-keeping. Contracts can be written out, but any buyer who pays for a product or service on the spot automatically agrees to the terms of a sales contract.
Step 1: Title the Contract and Begin with an Introduction. Step 2: Write the Contact Information for Each Party. Step 3: Describe the Sales Transaction. Step 4: Input the Buyer's and the Seller's Expectations. Step 5: Provide a Section Where Both Parties Will Sign.
The description of the goods is usually the most important term in a sales contract. This is because there is a lot of room for error with the description.
