In Windows, you can deselect the whole page selection (gained by pressing CTRL + A) by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + HOME. If you have a partial selection not starting from the beginning, the combo specified above will select the text from the beginning as far as the previously selected text.
2 Answers. You can deselect options in a multi-value select list by ctrl-clicking it. You can use JS object to memorize the status of a row and click action on select (jQuery).
You can use Ctrl + Arrow to move among selected items. Ctrl + Space will select/deselect. (Space alone will select but not deselect.)
Radio buttons are intended to allow a single selection among multiple options in response to a single choice given.
Give people control and align with their expectations (Good): It is better to have a selected radio button by default, given that people cannot deselect and set the button back to its original state once one has been selected. A default selection sets the correct user expectation.
Begin by creating an input element to serve as the basic foundation. Set the type to radio. Give each radio button a unique id. Use the name attribute to identify all the buttons in a group. Consider visual grouping as well.
Go to Insert > Form Items > Radio Button Group. This opens the Insert Radio Button Group window. Enter a name for the group. This will appear in your form results. Enter your radio button items. Click Add to add more item-value pairs to your list. Click OK.
Select the grouped object and press Ctrl+Shift+G. Right-click the grouped object, scroll to Group, and select Ungroup. Select the grouped object. Go to the Home tab, click Arrange, and select Ungroup.
Only one radio button in a given group can be selected at the same time. Radio buttons are typically rendered as small circles, which are filled or highlighted when selected.
When you create multiple radio buttons offering different choices, you can group them together so that only one of them can be selected by setting the 'name' attribute to the same value for all the choices. The checked attribute indicates the default radio button (it will appear to be selected).
