Log in to the Online Application Portal. Select Update Application. Select the New Update tab. Under Additional Information, select the type of update you would like to make to your application from the drop-down menu.
Click the entry you'd like to change, which brings it up in the main view at the top. Click the EDIT button on the top right-hand corner to make the form data editable. Update the form info as you would like, and press the SUBMIT button. Just like that, the submission data has been saved.
After an application is submitted applicants are not able to return to the application to make edits. We suggest contacting the program or organization you are applying to directly if you wish to make an edit.
In the Applications window, select the application that you would like to edit. Click the icon in the upper middle of the Applications window. The Edit Application window is displayed: Edit the application components and roles as necessary. Click Save.
Once a form has been submitted, the school may process it at any time. This means that you will not be able to edit or update a form after you have submitted it. Each school who has received the form can then “unsubmit” the form, which will allow you to access, make the necessary changes and resubmit.

Once your application has been submitted, you cannot change any information on your application through Apply Texas. You will need to contact the university or universities to which you applied to give them any corrected or missing information.
On the Common Application, if your mistake appears on any component other than the essay, you can correct it without creating a new version of the Common Application. If, however, the mistake was in your essay, then you will need to create an alternate version of your essay in the Common Application system.
