appreciate that this service is available. enabled me to perform billing on required government forms because I don't own a typewriter. a little difficult saving and retrieving forms however.

It's been very good working with PDF Filler. Makes saving forms so much easier. I only have one complaint. When it comes to dates, I usually need to write it as year-month-day; but PDF Filler is already programmed as day-month-year so I have to keep on erasing dates and fill it out by hand, which is annoying.

Works Perfectly!
I don't typically need a lot of editing, but what I do need this service does perfectly. No guessing about what you need to do like with some other apps, and although I do sort of enjoy the uncertainty of wondering whether things will actually edit or not pdfFiller has definitely helped me be more productive.

Can you make an S election mid-year?
Enter the first day of the tax year for which you wish the S corporation election to be effective in Line E. The election must begin on the first day of the business tax year. You cannot elect a change in tax filing status mid-year.
When can you make an S election?
Form 2553 (the S Corp election form) must be filed with the IRS. It is typically due within 75 days of forming your business entity or March 15 of the following year.
When can an S election be made?
The election must be made during 2018 or on or before March 15, 2019.
How do I know if I'm an S Corp?
Check S Corp Status. You can check your S corp status relatively easily by contacting the IRS. If you have properly submitted your S corporation form to the IRS and have not heard back, you can call the IRS at (800) 829-4933, and they will inform you of your application status.
What is an S election?
An S corporation, for the United States federal income tax, is a closely held corporation (or, in some cases, a limited liability company (LLC) or a partnership) that makes a valid election to be taxed under Subchapter S of Chapter 1 of the Internal Revenue Code. In general, S corporations do not pay any income taxes.
How do I change to an S Corp?
If you haven't already done so, you first need to file IRS Form 8832 to elect for your LLC to be taxed as a Corporation. (You cannot change this tax status for 60 months.) Once the LLC is classified for federal tax purposes as a Corporation, it can file Form 2553 to be taxed as an S Corporation.
