What our customers say about pdfFiller
See for yourself by reading reviews on the most popular resources:
Great. However, I need to type vertical on the forms I am filling out and am not sure PDFfiller allows this process. There are two pages that I prefer to print on one page but I do not see this option when I am ready to print.

Easy and intuitive to use - could fill out forms right away with little effort. Signature capture using the laptop camera did not work - the signature ink lines not clear after cleaning up the image. I scanned my signature at 300dpi using a scanner, and saved that image.
I tried this, liked it, and bought 1 year subscription.

I'm so glad that I can fill in all the forms and documents easily with PDF filler. Before it was so frustrating not to be able to sign my name, PDF Filler is great!

Great customer service
Great customer service, such a hard thing to come across. Easy access to your cloud uploaded documents from any device. The only thing limiting the 5 star is the relatively clunky interface. Still would use again for secure pdf development.

King of PDF Filling
PDFfiller really saves time by allowing you to directly write on the PDF. Previously I had to print it out and fill out the details and have to rescan the document and PDFfiller eliminates all these steps.
It's very simple to use as you just have to drop the PDF file which needs to be filled.
The biggest advantage is that it also works with a file which is not "fillable" by allowing you to add text and images on it.
Often times larger PDF file doesn't work directly so I have to divide it and have to re-upload them again. I think it would be really helpful if PDFfiller allows such functionality by default where it either works directly or ability to divide it on their website.

I'm a little bit new at the process, but I'm interested in learning as much as possible about any new technologies, that will save me a little bit of time.

We were out of town and needed an expensive package delivered to an alternate address. We needed a signed release for the courier to deliver without a signature, and this was the best way to create and eventually email that release form.

Only ever used Adobe in the past. Found this affordable option. It is fantastic. User friendly and effective app. I applied for a rental with a heap of forms to fill out and now our family are living in it. I accidentally signed the 1year subscription. Advised that I only wanted to use it during the trial period for a purpose and happy to pay for one month. They communication was quick and on point. They summarised and actioned exactly what I requested. Only charged me $30 for the month and cancelled my future subscription. I would happily use this again. Thank you.

Great tool to simply fill out PDF
Nothing super fancy but a stable, well purposed PDF editor that has easy access to upload and download PDFs.
Easy to upload and download PDFs for simple editing tasks. Whether wanting to fill out with text or signatures, very simple to edit freely on a PDF.
A lot of competitors that are web based make this another run of the mill PDF editor. Nothing super fancy.

How do you indicate a field is required?
Most designers use asterisks to indicate the required fields. But it is necessary to stop, the research on the subject is clear, and it is already the case for quite some time, used asterisks for the required field is a common mistake.
What does this field is required mean?
”Field is required” is a flag that has absolutely nothing to do with screens. You either need to remove the flag in the field configuration, making it optional, or you need to add the field to the screen, so the user can obey the mandatory rule you've set.
What does the click field is required mean?
When you make a field required, people must enter an answer to the field in order to submit their entry. When someone tries to submit an entry without filling out a required field, we highlight the problematic fields and display an error message to let them know the field is required.
How do you show a field is required?
Most designers use asterisks to indicate the required fields. But it is necessary to stop, the research on the subject is clear, and it is already the case for quite some time, used asterisks for the required field is a common mistake.
What is mandatory field in a form?
Mandatory fields are questions that must be answered before the form can be submitted. Mandatory fields are also called compulsory or required fields. The opposite of a mandatory field is an optional field. Optional fields are also sometimes called voluntary fields.
How do you indicate mandatory fields in form?
Provide the required text in the label. Provide a graphic * image in the label with appropriate alt text. Providing a star (asterisk) symbol. Use of color to identify if a form control is required. Providing HTML5 and ARIA required attributes.
What does Fields marked with an asterisk are required mean?
i.e. fields would be marked with an asterisk with a note somewhere explicitly stating the meaning. Eventually it becomes widespread and users assume it means 'required' without referencing the footnote. Much in the same way we are taught that red labels mean required.
A common question in many of the trainings I teach is: Should I mark the required fields in a form? If most fields in the form are required, should we still mark them? The short answer is: yes. It's best to have such a specification next to every single required field instead of just having a message such as, "All fields are required," or "All fields are required unless otherwise indicated" at the top of the page... or no message at all. Most of the time, people don't read small or even large font instructions at the top of a form. When they see a form, they often just jump into filling it. Even when people read such instructions, they might forget the instructions if they happen to be interrupted while they fill out the form. You might think that it will be more efficient to just mark the optional fields, since there are fewer. Unfortunately, to determine that a field is required, people will have to scan the entire form and check for any optional fields. That is not going to happen. Instead, they will use common sense to assume which fields are mandatory. And, users' expectations can differ from the designers'. The result may be a form submission error, which will take significant time and interaction cost to address. How should you mark the required fields? The asterisk (*) has become the standard for indicating mandatory fields, and it has the advantage that it does not take that much space. So, use it! Should the asterisk precede or follow the field label? This is unlikely to make a real difference, but one reason to put it just before the field description is to help the eyes easily locate which fields are required by scanning just the left-most character of the label. If the required fields are specified, should you also specify the optional fields? While it's not obligatory, marking the optional fields also does lighten the users' cognitive load. In the absence of that word, the user must look around, and infer that a field is optional based on the other fields being marked as required. If the word optional is next to the field descriptor, that task becomes a tad easier. Not specifying that the field is optional is not a deal-breaker, but doing so is a nice perk.
