Great service! Could use some updates though. The site is rather slow at times, and when changes text size there seems to be a bug where the page needs to refresh or reload. Also, general improvements on loading time would be nice. Also, please make the process of saving to PDF less steps and less clunky. I don't need to be shown where the pdf will be once downloaded.

Essential software
Being able to fill in pdf's is great! It saves so many steps and looks more professional. Before I would have to print a form, fill it in by hand, scan it back into the computer and then send it on. Now I can fill in necessary information, neatly typed and send it on.
Once in awhile I have a hard time making it do what I want when I am trying to change a document.

PDF filler is a real time saver
PDF filler is really good for formatting forms that don't come with editable text boxes. This is really useful for me as it saves me having to print off forms, write on them and then upload and send them back.
I have had an issue where one of the forms I was working on suddenly refreshed and I lost my progress. But it's only happened once

My experience was good with pdfFiller. I just don't feel that I would use it enough to keep the extra expense!

What do you do with permitted addition?
A home that has permitted work is a home with baggage, and those homes could end up selling cheaper than their permitted equivalents. As a buyer, you should know what you are getting into before you agree to purchase a home with no permits for work that requires them.
Can I sell a house with permitted work?
It's possible for sellers who find permitted construction work to sell the home as-is. Sellers do not have to admit to a buyer or the city that there's permitted work done on the home, but they are required to answer buyer's questions honestly.
Do you have to disclose permitted work?
All permitted work must be disclosed to any buyers when you decide to sell the house. That means that you will need to tell them about it if you sell, and offer a discount just as the current seller is doing.
Can you sell a house without a permit?
So, you've done a bit of work without having building permits issued, and now you want to sell your property. You can still get the necessary construction permits, and make your work legal, so you can sell your home: Disclose the unauthorized work to your listing agent.
Does Title Insurance Cover permitted work?
A standard title insurance policy will not protect you against permitted construction on your property. You may have, however, a premium title insurance policy or a title policy with special coverage (called an endorsement) that covers permitted construction.
What happens if I get caught building without a permit?
Fines may be assessed if building occurs without a permit. A home can be tagged for a fine each time an inspector drives through a neighborhood and sees work being completed without a permit. Therefore, it's critical that homeowners get a permit before attempting any building projects in their home.
What happens if an addition is not permitted?
”If the permitted work isn't allowed at all, the city inspectors can make the homeowner tear down or remove the renovation or addition,” says Hillman. And if the inspectors don't make the homeowner tear something out, you can at least expect a tax assessment for any improvements.
How do you know if an addition is permitted?
The only way to get the real answer is by going into the building department (first thing in the morning is best) and see what you can dig up there. You can attempt to call first to see what you can find out on the phone, but more often then not they will just tell you to come in.
