Open the first document. Place the cursor where you want the second document to be inserted. From the Insert tab, Text group, click on the down arrow next to Object and choose Text from file. Select the file to be inserted. Click on Insert.
Create a message, or for an existing message, click Reply, Reply All, or Forward. In the message window, on the Message tab, in the Include group, click Attach File. Browse to and click the file that you want to attach, and then click Insert.
Select View details. Select Attach documents. Click on the Attachment link for each document to be attached. Select the Document type from the dropdown list. Enter a brief description of the document in the Description field. Click the Browse button.
Open the Word document that you want to insert a PDF into. Click Insert > Object... > From File... Choose the PDF file from the pop-up window and press Insert. The PDF file will then be placed onto your Word document.
