You can now test the link by clicking on it. It will open in a new tab or window, allowing the user to access the associated content without revealing the blocked out information.

To remove the link object, simply click on it and press the 'Delete' key on your keyboard.

Use the =HYPERLINK() function. If you use this function, the hyperlinks will not break. Disable the updating of these links in the Excel client, by going to Excel Options > Advanced > General > Web Options > File names and locations > and uncheck Update links on save.
Activate Microsoft Excel, click on File on the top left. Choose Options, Trust Center, Trust Center Settings. On the left choose External Content, then Enable all Data Connections (not recommended) Select OK, then exit and reopen your spreadsheet.
Go to Data → Edit Links (in the Connections group). It will show the linked sources. Unfortunately, Excel has no native way of finding what is linking to the sources (official documentation states: “There is no automatic way to find external references (also called links) that are used in a destination workbook.”).
