Very good so far except that when I attempt to print completed documents the program changes the orientation of the doc so that it cannot be printed. I've managed a work around, but it's annoying.

Typically for plumbing permits, a contractor is required its state law. Homeowners can do certain types of things to their home without a permit, like replacing a toilet or removing sink fixtures and putting in new ones.
Minor electrical work, such as replacing a light fixture or an electrical outlet, often does not require a permit. Replacing a circuit breaker in-kind will not require a permit either.
Replacing light fixtures Generally speaking, a homeowner can replace light fixtures. If the amperage isn't high enough to cover the wattage of your new light, you will need an additional wire run from your circuit breaker. It's best to hire a licensed and qualified electrician for such a task.
There are many other construction activities that require permits in most localities. For example, if you plan to install insulation or drywall in a large area, add or remove walls, or put in replacement windows, you will probably need a permit.
Although some contractors may tell you that a permit is not required when replacing your garage door, getting a permit is necessary when replacing your garage door. If work is completed without a permit, more money and time will be spent dealing with this later.
When installing and replacing garage doors, permits are required. However, you are not required to have a building permit when you are replacing sections or installing a screen for your garage. As a homeowner having a permit is in your best interest!
Permits. Replacing a window doesn't need a permit. Upgrading your window to a door does. Your home may fail inspection if you have a change that does not have an associated permit on hand, and this could result in the next buyer not being able to get a loan.
