The forms are easier to provide typed information into rather than trying to write it in and not having enough space. It's also easier to delete and correct mistakes rather than try using white-out with ink pen entry.

Anne in customer support was outstanding, she was patient, calm, informative and extremely helpful. I had lost work that I had spent hours on and couldnt find what I had done wrong, Anne patiently worked through it with me and I found the document, without her I would have cried, literally, as I had worked the whole of the night on the document and it looked like i had lost it all. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does not have an option to undo things if you make an error. If you make an error you have to restart the whole thing. Otherwise, its a great program to have!!!

Highly will recommend to others. Easy to use, and I just enjoy the fact that I can edit the text box to where I want to put it and being able to change the size of the box. There are ,of course, more features, but this is feature by far has been the one I been using the most.

How do you number paragraphs in a provisional patent?
The number should consist of at least four numerals enclosed in square brackets, including leading zeros (e.g., [0001]). The numbers and enclosing brackets should appear to the right of the left margin as the first item in each paragraph, before the first word of the paragraph, and should be highlighted in bold.
What are the drawing requirements for a provisional patent application?
Provisional patent drawings should include as many views as necessary to fully disclose the invention. These views should include front, back, right and left sides, top, and bottom. The drawings should be clear and legible and easily reproduced.
What must be disclosed in a patent application?
To obtain a valid patent, a patent application must meet several requirements. The invention must be not only patentable subject matter, useful, novel, and nonobvious, but in the patent application, the applicant must provide a specification that sufficiently discloses the invention.
Can you file color drawings in a PCT application?
All lines in the drawings must, ordinarily, be drawn with the aid of a drafting instrument and must be executed in black, uniformly thick and well-defined lines. Color drawings are not acceptable. PCT Rules 11.10 to 11.13 contain detailed requirements as to further physical requirements of drawings.
What is the font size for a patent figure?
The text must be written in a non-script type font (e.g., Arial, Times Roman, or Courier, preferably a font size of 12) lettering style having capital letters which should be at least 0.3175 cm (0.125 inches) high, but not smaller than 0.21 cm (0.08 inch) high (e.g., a font size of 6).
Can patent drawings be in color?
Color drawings are acceptable in US patent applications, but not in international applications (see PCT Rule 11.13).
What can be added to a provisional patent application?
In addition to the description, the provisional application must include: all drawings necessary to understand the invention; the names of all inventors; the appropriate filing fee (approximately $125 for individual inventors); and. a cover sheet that identifies the invention.
Can you file color drawings in a provisional patent application?
The answer is YES! if a petition is granted explaining why the color drawings or photographs are necessary for illustrating the claimed invention. Under 35 U.S.C. § 113, the Applicant for a patent must “furnish a drawing where necessary for the understanding of the subject matter to be patented”.
