Answer to my prayers. TurboTax, IRS, other www sites gave me horrors. I started your site one day and somehow decided to leave and why I decided to go back to those other sites again was a HUGE mistake ... it all gave me horrors. I prayed again this morning and low and behold, your site was simple as apples to apples. I gave God the biggest smile and thank you for solving my nightmare to fill out the contractors 1099-misc for 2016. Late I am and was because of my health, and the contractor didn't sign the W-9 form which I had waited for which he finally emailed it to me. One question here with this form finished, do you send IRs their copy or do I need to do it myself? Pls respond a.s.a.p., I want to send it today if I need to do this. Thanks, Janet Mac Neal

PDFFiller is a great tool! I have been very happy being able to fill in documents without having to print the document, then handwrite the answers on the document, so I could then scan it back in to my computer to send it off via email.

Mostly I am thrilled with this service I didn't know I needed... until this week... and I needed it twice!! The form MC 030 was glitchy when it came to cut and pasting and editing the comments section. My only complaint.

What is the combined work formula?
One approach is to set up a simple equation: 3/10 x = 1, where 1 stands for the entire job. Solving for x, or the combined work rate, we get 10/3, Answer C, or the reciprocal of 3/10.
Can you add rates together?
We can sum the rates. If we are told that A can complete one job in 2 hours and B can complete the same job in 3 hours, then A's rate is job/hour and B's rate is job/hour. Combined rate of A and B working simultaneously would be jobbed/hour, which means that they will complete job in one hour working together.
How do you check your solution to an equation?
Evaluate the left-hand side expression at the given value to get a number. Evaluate the right-hand side expression at the given value to get a number. See if the numbers match.
How do you know how many solutions an equation has?

How do you find the solution to a linear equation?
Add the x terms and the constants on the left side of the equation. The answer is x=3. Check the solution by substituting 3 in the original equation for x. If the left side of the equation equals the right side of the equation after the substitution, you have found the correct answer.
