You need some front end GUI. "What do you want to do?" "Create a brand new form from scratch?" "Make a PDF form fillable for your business?" etc.... I got the service and deleted my subscription only to play with it a little more and see the tiny, green side button that allows one to make the form fillable and then I realized this was a service I wanted. You are not demonstrating or advertising the best feature from the get-go.

What do you like best?
I have been using PDFfiler for more than 4 years. It makes my pdf documents look professional. There is no longer a need to print a doc, fill it in with pen, scan, and send. PDFfiler reduces the amount of steps I have to take to get the job done. It helps to also have everything saved on the My Docs page. I can find the same tax documents I need month after month. PDFfiler also reduces the amount of paper needed to generate a document. I probably use PDFfiler every day.
What do you dislike?
I would like to be able to turn off the assisted pop-ups. They can obstruct the box I want to enter text.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Simple to use. Makes your docs look professional and neat. Easy to manipulate a doc that is incorrect.

I fill out every form on PDFfiler. It's automatic to me. In addition, when I am unable to edit a Word doc or other pdf, I know I can upload it to PDFfiler and get the job done right away.

Other than being billed initially for a 30 days trial, I contacted Customer Service right away and they credited me back the $144 first year right away. Otherwise, I am liking the service so far. Just learning how to use it.

How do you make something not a smart object?
Double-click the Smart Object to open it in a new window. Highlight all the layers in the .PSB (smart object) which opens. Choose Layer > Group from the menu. Hold the Shift key down and drag from the Smart Object Window to your original document window with the Move Tool.
How do you make a smart object?
Open a file as a Smart Object (Choose File > Open As Smart Object, select a file, and click Open). Convert a layer, layer group or multiple layers to a smart object (Choose Layer > Smart Object > Convert to Smart Object. You can also do this by right-clicking on the layer or layer group in the layers panel).
Why is smart object not directly editable?
It means you're trying to edit a smart object instead of a normal layer — and you can't edit them directly. First, read up on smart objects. Then select a normal layer for editing, or open the smart object and edit the contents.
How do you undo a smart object?

How do you relink a smart object in Photoshop?
Select an embedded Smart Object layer in the Photoshop document. Choose Layer > Smart Object > Convert To Linked. Select the location on your computer where you want to save the source file. Enter a name for the file, including a supported extension. For example, link_file. Jpg.
