For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Locate the signature section of the online application. For online applications that insert the signature you create, you generally select sign document or a similar instruction and then click okay or apply signature to complete the process.
Usually, a signature is simply someone's name written in a stylized fashion. However, that is not really necessary. All that needs to be there is some mark that represents you. The signature can be made by anything that marks the paper.
Signatures necessarily do not have to spell your full name. Signatures are a mark affixed by a person on a document to show his consent or dissent from the writing of the same, provided he puts his hand up and owns that this is his mark.
Official answer: yes, you can be made to sign your full and complete name. Unofficial answer: only if it's legible. Technically, your signature is whatever you say it is, provided it can be considered unique.
In the legal sense signatures don't have to be legible, but they do have to be consistent. Well that sucks mine are neither legible nor consistent. A signature is supposed to be identifiable as yours and unique in some way. It doesn't need to be readable as long as you can recognize your own signature against a forgery.
Sign your name on a piece of paper. Scan your signature and save it on your computer. Open the word processor and open a new document. Move the cursor to the line about your address. Open Microsoft Outlook and click “Tools” on the top toolbar.
Know when it feels right. Your signature should be easy to write and reproduce. It should feel good coming off of your hand, and it should be simple enough that you can dash it off in a matter of seconds. Your signature should suit your purpose and personality. Your signature should be identifiable.
