I was desperately trying to edit a pdf copy of the P&S and we could not convert it to a Word document. Finding your website where I could make edits to the form, made my life a whole lot easier. However, I work for a law firm and we normally do not have to do these types of documents. So I am afraid I will have to cancel once the document is finalized. At least, I will keep your website as a place to go to if there is a future need. Could you please cancel my membership after the 30 days I already paid? Thank you.

A hollow-base bullet is an expanding bullet that has a pit or hollowed out shape in its base often intended to cause the bullet to expand upon firing a cartridge in order to expand the base against the barrel grooves and obdurate the bore more as the bullet travels through the barrel.
Bullets are made of a variety of materials such as copper, lead, steel, polymer, rubber and even wax. They are available either singly as in muzzle loading and cap and ball firearms or as a component of paper cartridges, but much more commonly in the form of metallic cartridges.
Jacketed lead: Bullets intended for even higher-velocity applications generally have a lead core that is jacketed or plated with gilding metal, cupronickel, copper alloys, or steel; a thin layer of harder metal protects the softer lead core when the bullet is passing through the barrel and during flight, which allows ...
Lead is found in bullets as well as the explosive that ignites gunpowder. When a bullet is fired, it gets so hot that that lead actually vaporizes. ... The most direct solution is switching to lead-free ammunition or at least jacketed bullets, which have a lead core covered with a coating made of copper or nylon.
When you pull the trigger of a gun, a spring mechanism hammers a metal firing pin into the back end of the cartridge, igniting the small explosive charge in the primer. The primer than ignites the propellant the main explosive that occupies about two thirds of a typical cartridge's volume.
All cartridges both rimfire and centerfirehave four main parts. Case: The case holds the primer, powder, and bullet. Primer: The primer compound explodes when struck by the firing pin and ignites the powder. Powder: The powder burns and creates gas to push the bullet through the bore and out the muzzle.

The basic components of ammunition are the case, primer, powder, and projectile. Case: The container that holds all the other ammunition components together. It's usually made of brass, steel, or copper. Primer: An explosive chemical compound that ignites the gunpowder when struck by a firing pin.

Rimmed cartridges use the rim to hold the cartridge in the chamber of the firearm, with the rim serving to hold the cartridge at the proper depth in the chamber this function is called “head spacing”. Because the rimmed cartridge headspaces on the rim, the case length is of less importance than with rimless cartridges.
