How do I create a PDF certificate?
Open the PDF containing the signature.
Open the Signatures panel, and select the signature.
On the Options menu, click Show Signature Properties, and then click Show Signer's Certificate.
What is a Certified PDF document?
A Certified PDF is a regular PDF, with a few bits of extra information: It contains information about the preflight profile that was used to check the file. It contains logging information that tells you if the preflight was successful and if any errors or notifications were generated.
How do I create a Certified PDF?
On the Protect tab, in the Certify Document group, click Certify.
On the Certify Profile Wizard, choose the actions you want to permit from the Permitted actions list.
Click Next.
Select a digital ID to certify with, and choose whether to make the certificate visible.
