Open Microsoft Word. Choose the Review tab at the top of the document. Either click the Track Changes button (PC) or toggle the Track Changes switch (Mac). Make sure that you change 'Simple Markup' to 'All Markup' from the drop-down bar next to Track Changes.
The Track Changes function in Word allows you to keep a record of amendments made to a document. To switch on tracking, open the document you want to revise and select Tools Track Changes. When track changes are on, you will be able to see deletions, insertions and any formatting changes.
Locate and open the target document. Once on the interface, go to the REVIEW tab from the top. On the REVIEW tab, from the displayed options, click Track Changes button from the Tracking section. From the same section, click the All Markup option from the drop-down list displaying Simple Markup.
Select the change you want to accept or reject. From the Review tab, click the Accept or Reject command. The markup will disappear, and Word will automatically jump to the next change. When you're finished, click the Track Changes command to turn off Track Changes.
