This is my first time using PDF filler, but I like the ability to work with PDF documents this program has given me so far. I would really like the ability to highlight and possibly copy the PDF over to a word or excel document. But being able to highlight and put a sticky is excellent!!!

15-minute break for 4-6 consecutive hours or a 30-minute break for more than 6 consecutive hours. If an employee works 8 or more consecutive hours, the employer must provide a 30-minute break and an additional 15-minute break for every additional 4 consecutive hours worked.
Lunch is unpaid and on your own time and not included in the 8 hours. The most common business hours are 8AM — 5PM (9 hours). The other hour is for your lunch. Some employers expect certain times for taking breaks and lunch, others just require the 8 hours to be put in.
Lunch time, if offered, isn't required to be paid. Lunch breaks aren't counted toward total hours worked, and therefore are not included in overtime calculations. Breaks of 20 minutes or less are counted as hours worked and are included in overtime calculations.
Federal law does not require breaks and meal periods, but many states have labor laws that contain provisions for mandatory rest periods for breaks and meals, making it unlawful to require that employees work a straight shift of eight hours.
Employers must provide employees with at least a 30-minute meal break for every 8 hours of continuous work. In addition, employees must be provided with at least a 10-minute rest break for every 4 hours worked in a day. If the employee's total work time is 3 ½ hours or less, then a break is not required.
Break entitlement In general, you are entitled to a 15-minute break when you have worked for 4 ½ hours. If you work more than 6 hours you are entitled to a 30-minute break, which can include the first 15-minute break. There is no entitlement to be paid for these breaks, and they are not considered working time.
Applicable to every employer. Meal period is required where employees are not afforded necessary breaks and/or permitted to eat lunch while working. ½ hour, after 5 hours, except when workday will be completed in 6 hours or less and there is mutual employer/employee consent to waive meal period.
For example, an employee could be given a 30-minute lunch break (unpaid) and two 15-minute breaks (paid) during each eight-hour shift. ... For a six-hour shift, an employee could receive two 10-minute breaks or a 20-minute lunch break. Another option is giving an employee a break after a certain number of hours of work.
There are several types of breaks. They vary in length and may or may not require the employee to clock out. When an hourly employee is required to clock out, it is called an unpaid break. If an employee is allowed to remain clocked in during a break, it is called a paid break.
Washington's breaks requirements are stated in Washington Administrative Code § 296-126-092: (1) Employees shall be allowed a meal period of at least thirty minutes which commences no less than two hours nor more than five hours from the beginning of the shift.
