Cancelling a subscription can be an intimidating and anxiety creating experience. NOT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! Write unique titles for every page. Every page on your website is unique and your title tags should reflect that. Pay attention to length. Use your target keyword (but don't overdo it). Be descriptive of what's on the page. Make a (brief) case for what's on the page.
Google starts cutting off title tags in the SERPs after around 5060 characters. (Well, it's actually based on pixels, but 5060 characters is a good rule of thumb.) So keep your title tags around this length.

Best practice is to use one keyword per title, maybe two if they're very closely related or one is your brand/company name. If you do use more than one keyword in a tag, the standard format is main keyword — second keyword | third keyword.
They are used as a ranking factor. So yes, titles are used by Google as a ranking signal. They are 100% important. But you can rank without using them.
Length. Title tags should be between 50-60 characters in length. Google has not specifically come out and said that title tags should be this length. However, if your title is longer than 60 characters, you risk the chance of it becoming cut off in the middle.
