I've only used it a few times, but I think that I might be using it more over the next couple of years, as my daughter finishes high school and goes through the college application process! She's also on a couple of sports teams which require the same forms every year; it will be nice to have the info already entered and just modify some dates!

Fluent polarity plays the highest role in all types of HPLC. There are two elation types: Socratic and gradient.
Columns are the main component in HPLC because the column is responsible for the separation of the sample components. The sample passes through the column with the mobile phase and separates in its components when it comes out from the column. ... The material filled in the HPLC columns is known as a stationary phase.
Silica is also used in organic synthesis to purify reaction mixtures. In each case, a high purity, controlled and uniform surface is necessary to impart the desirable chromatographic performance. The classic use of silica columns is for normal phase HPLC.
C18 columns are HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) columns that use a C18 substance as the stationary phase. ... C18 simply means that the molecules contain 18 carbon atoms, so the other atoms in the molecule can vary, leading to significantly different substances.
Some of them include column chromatography, thin-layer chromatography (TLC), paper chromatography, gas chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, gel permeation chromatography, high-pressure liquid chromatography, and affinity chromatography [6].
