On your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More. Click Bookmarks Bookmark manager. On the left, you'll see folders with all your bookmarks.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app. At the top right, tap More Bookmarks. If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Star. If you're in a folder, at the top left, tap Back. Open each folder and look for your bookmark.
The location of the file is in your user directory in the path “Appear\\Local\\Google\\Chrome\\User Data\\Default.” If you want to modify or delete the bookmarks file for some reason, you should exit Google Chrome first. Then you can modify or delete both the “Bookmarks” and “Bookmarks.bak” files.
The process is easy; navigate to the User Data folder in Windows Explorer, right click on it and get the properties. Go to the Previous Versions tab and, if you are lucky, there will be a list of available backups. To restore a folder backup, highlight it and click the Restore button.
Here is how to recover your lost bookmarks (Windows): Copy C:\\Users\\username\\Appear\\Local\\Google\\Chrome\\User Data into File Explorer. In search bar, type Bookmarks, you will see a list of files named Bookmarks and/or Bookmarks.
In Chrome, go to Settings > Advanced sync settings (under the Sign in section) and change the sync settings so that Bookmarks aren't synced, if they currently are set to sync. Close Chrome. Back in the Chrome user data folder, find another “Bookmarks” file without an extension.
If your bookmarks have disappeared from the Chrome screen, the bookmark bar has become hidden. Hit “Ctrl” plus “Shift” plus “B” to bring it back. The same option is available via the Bookmarks sub-menu on the Settings menu. Place a tick next to “Always show bookmarks bar.”
