Good for business Works well most of the time with only about 5% of customers having difficulty signing documents. The word concatenate is just another way of saying “to combine” or “to join together”. The CONCATENATE function allows you to combine text from different cells into one cell. In our example, we can use it to combine the text in column A and column B to create a combined name in a new column.
Select a cell where you want to enter the formula. Type =CONCATENATE(in that cell or in the formula bar. Press and hold Ctrl and click on each cell you want to concatenate.
