Is there a warranty on straight talk phones?
All Straight Talk phone products are covered under the manufacturer's warranty for up to 1 year from the date of purchase. To obtain warranty service from Straight Talk on a new or reconditioned phone or Straight Talk accessories, please contact Technical Support at 1-877-430-CELL (2355).
How do I replace my straight talk phone?
To upgrade, please go to www.straighttalk.com/Activate and select the radio button “Activate or reactivate my phone with a number transferred from another Straight Talk phone” and click on “Continue” then please sign in to your account to complete this process. Your transfer may take up to 24 hours.
Can I just switch SIM cards between Straight Talk phones?
Sometimes transferring your Straight Talk service to a new phone is as simple as moving the SIM from your current phone to your new phone. You can move your SIM card if your: current phone uses Straight Talk's AT&T or T-Mobile network. Current phone and new phone both use the same size SIM card.
Can you change your straight talk number online?
Yes, you may change your Straight Talk phone number. You can contact us at 1-877-430-CELL (2355) to change it. You can use our automated system or speak to a Customer Care Representative.
Can you change plans on straight talk?
Customers who want to change Straight Talk plan minutes can upgrade from the 1,000 minutes per month plan to an unlimited plan. Of the six plans available from Straight Talk, only one plan offers limited minutes. The remaining five plans offer unlimited talk for one, three, six or 12 months.
Will Straight Talk replace my broken phone?
After you enroll, Straight Talk makes it easy for you to get your phone serviced or replaced. If your phone is damaged, we'll send you a shipping label, so you can mail us your damaged phone. Once we receive it, we'll send you back a replacement, so you never have to miss a beat.
Does Straight Talk warranty cover broken screen?
Your warranty only covers defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover defects arising from damage or normal wear-and-tear or aging. The warranty covers issues such as: software-related issues, camera defects, unresponsive keys, dead pixels, etc.
