Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
A silent push notification is a hidden instruction that is delivered to the app on a user's device. Instead of causing an interaction with the user like a typical push notification, silent notifications will simply quietly deliver a certain set of data to the app, allowing the app to act upon that data.
Find a quiet notification in the Notification Center. (Pull down from the top of your display, or the top-right on an iPhone X.) Swipe from the right to the left on a notification you'd like to delivery quietly. Tap on Manage. Tap on Deliver Prominently.

On the Settings menu, tap the Sound & Notification option, and then scroll down until you see the App notifications entry. Tap that. Tap each app to see its notification options. To disable notifications for an app, switch the Block All toggle the on position.

Go into the Settings app and tap on Do Not Disturb so that you can decide exactly who can reach you and when. At the top of the Do Not Disturb settings panel, you'll find a toggle for turning the feature on and off. It's the same control you can activate through Control Center, and it silences phone calls and alerts.
Open the Settings app and tap Notifications. Scroll down to the app you want to get silent notifications for and tap it. On the app's notifications settings' screen, you will see three options; Block all, show silently, and override Do not disturb.
"Notification Dots" are small, circular blobs that sit on top of your app icons. They'll only appear when you have an unread notification -- long-tap and you'll get a quick preview in the form of speech-like bubbles.
One such feature is notification dots. With this feature enabled, you will get a quick indication on either your home screen or your App Drawer that a notification is available for an app.
At their core, Android O's notification dots represent an expanded system for delivering notifications. As the name suggests, the feature causes a dot to appear in the upper-right corner of an app's icon on your home screen whenever that app has a notification pending.
