Open a PDF. Open the PDF file in PDF element that was saved from PowerPoint to PDF format, and you want to save it as a smaller PDF. Optimize PDF on Mac. Now, click on “File” in the main menu and then click on “Save as Other” > “Optimized PDF”. Settings for Optimize PDF Size on Mac.

Print option for the File Menu. Your PowerPoint presentation is now saved as PDF document and will have a smaller file size. Option, Save as PDF. You may also select Compress PDF, which will further decrease your file size.
