Like any software you need to learn the program and the first time I used it I was struggling and reached out to support. I was AMAZED at the quick response I received and the step by step instruction.

To encrypt a PDF file, follow these steps: 1) Locate the encrypted PDF file you want to encrypt, and open it in Preview on your Mac. 3) Once you're in the file, go to File > Export from the Menu Bar. 4) Make sure to rename the file, then make sure the Encrypt option is unchecked.
Open the PowerPoint to be converted, then click “File.” Select “Export” from the dropdown menu. In the “File” tab, click “Export.” Steven John/Business Insider. Then choose the file name, destination, and change the file format to PDF. Then click “Export.”
Right-click on the locked PDF file. Select Open with Followed by Preview. Type the password and press Enter. The file is opened now. Enter the location to Save the locked PDF file, Uncheck the Encrypt option before saving the PDF document.
