Helpful answers Just have to copy (cmd C), then select the cell that you want to paste, then (Shift cmd V). You can find this paste option in edit menu. Copy to clipboard, click a destination cell once, and choose Edit > Paste Formula Results from the menu.
Click cell with style you want to copy style from and choose Format > Copy Style from the menu (or type option-command-c). Click target cell(s) you want to copy the style to and choose Format > Paste Style from the menu (or type option-command-v).
Do one of the following: Select the text with the style you want to copy. Choose Format > Copy Style (from the Format menu at the top of your screen). Select other text where you want to apply the style, or place the insertion point in text, then choose Format > Paste Style.
Here's a handy keyboard command that will let you paste and match style in Apple's Pages, Numbers and Keynote applications on the Mac. 1. Here's the keyboard command: Command-Option-Shift-V 2. This will paste in your text while matching the original style.

Possible cause 1: Cells are formatted as text Cause: The cell is formatted as Text, which causes Excel to ignore any formulas. This could be directly due to the Text format, or is particularly common when importing data from a CSV or Notepad file. Fix: Change the format of the cell(s) to General or some other format.
