How are initials written?

If you are following the traditional initial order, the last name initial will be the largest and in the center, with the first and middle name on the left and right. If the initials will all be the same size, then the initials will follow the order of first, middle and last.

How do you do initials?

If all the letters are the same size (also known as block), initials are ordered like your name: first, middle and last. If the monogram features a larger center initial, the ordering is always first name, last name, and middle name.

As indicated earlier, monograms for one person, whether they're married or not, use the first letters of their first, middle and last name.
