Anne in customer support was outstanding, she was patient, calm, informative and extremely helpful. I had lost work that I had spent hours on and couldnt find what I had done wrong, Anne patiently worked through it with me and I found the document, without her I would have cried, literally, as I had worked the whole of the night on the document and it looked like i had lost it all. Anne should be commended for her high level customer service. She is a definate asset to your organisation.

Step 1 Create Data Table. All reporting requires an input, typically data. Step 2 Define Tasks. Step 3 Enter Time Estimates for Task. Step 4 Create Estimated Effort. Step 5 Track Daily Progress. Step 6 Actual Effort. Step 7 Create Project Burn-Down Chart. Other Types Burn-Down Chart.
A burn down chart is a graphical representation of work left to do versus time. The outstanding work (or backlog) is often on the vertical axis, with time along the horizontal. Burn down charts are a run chart of outstanding work. It is useful for predicting when all the work will be completed.
On the horizontal axis plot a series of dates, which represent sprints or days within a sprint. As each date arrives, note the amount of work remaining at that date on the vertical axis, using story points, hours, or other measurement units.
Burn down and burn up charts are two types of charts that project managers use to track and communicate the progress of their projects. A burn down chart shows how much work is remaining to be done in the project, whereas a burn up chart shows how much work has been completed, and the total amount of work.

Release Burn-up chart is used to track progress of a release by comparing planned vs completed work. One gets to know how much work the team has completed over a certain span of time. The work could be either user story points or the number of hours spent.
The burn down chart provides a day-by-day measure of the work that remains in a given sprint or release. The slope of the graph, or burn down velocity, is calculated by comparing the number of hours worked to the original project estimation and shows the average rate of productivity for each day.
Click Projects then select the relevant project. Click Reports, then select Burn up Chart. To choose a different sprint, or a different measurement for the vertical axis, simply click the drop-down menus.
